Nordic Walking

After a bit of a break we are holding another 'Introduction to Nordic Walking' session on Saturday 2nd February at 10 am, meeting in the National Trust Car park on the outskirts of Much Wenlock (1/4 mile along the B4371). The session will teach people the basics of Nordic walking under the instruction of two instructors, lasting for about two hours it will include a 4 mile walk on Wenlock Edge. It is suitable for people of all levels of fitness and is an excellent way to either return to walking after injury, improve fitness or simply start to get fit.
The sessions will cost just £7 per person and this includes pole hire. Booking is essential as numbers are limited, this can be done by e-mailing chris.dunkerley@nationaltrust.org.uk
Walking will be off-road on uneven surfaces so suitable footwear is advised.
